[Lacy eating hay, one of her favorite passtimes.] [Lacy eating more hay.][Lacy eating even more hay.]

My Name is Lacy Creek
Please pardon me while I enjoy one of my favorite passtimes.
Here is some info about me and my friends.

[Image of Lacy] I don't remember when I was born, so lets just say the Spring of 1979. I stand about 14.3 hands. For those visitors to my page that don't know what a hand is in measuring horses, a hand equals 4 inches. So I stand 59 inches at the withers (the part of my neck that meets my back).

I think my mother was a Quarter Horse and my father was a Morgan, so I call myself a Quargan. Well there are Morabs (Morgan / Arabs) aren't there? So why not a Quargan (Quarter Horse / Morgan).

My color, according to the American Buckskin Horse Association, is Dun. I have many of the markings of a Dun. You can't see from these pictures but I have leg barring (stripes), a dorsal stripe down my back, shoulder patches that are darker than my coat, and white guard hairs in my main and tail. My points (legs, main, tail and tips of ears) are not black, they are very dark brown but there are black hairs. Some people still regard me as a buckskin, and that is OK. It all depends on where and how you were raised and what registry guide lines you follow. There are several web sites devoted to the buckskin/dun horse. Refer to our links page where we have them listed.

My favorite pasttime is eating, running down the trails, and camping with Debra and her friends. This winter has been tough. Not enough good days to get out on the trails, but we will be camping soon.

Now here are some more pictures of me and my friends:
Here is Indigo Moon, by boy friend.

He is a 15.2 hand Morgan/Percherson cross. Cute isn't he?

All ready for a trail ride! Just wish Deb would get with it so we could get going!
Here I am while camping in August of 2002. As alwasy, I was on guard for any Lions, Tigers or Bears that were in the woods.
Here is Indy and I sharing a pile of hay. Sometimes I can be very tollerant of the young boy.
Here is Indy geting a good rubbing. I thought he was going to push the tree over.

Well that is all for now.

Please drop by again. This page will be updated every so often. Though not as often as I would like.
